Falck Prime Atlantic aims to train at least 400 Nigerian in Basic First Aid and CPR in the year 2019. The free training campaign which kicked off in April 27, 2019 was a huge success. It had a total of 29 domestic staff, drivers and facility managers in attendance who participated in the informative, engaging and practical session.
This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative will run monthly throughout the year as FPA will be reaching out to Nigerian in different careers and sectors ranging from traders, commercial bus drivers, NYSC corpers, students, working professionals, government officials, Ipara community members and even celebrities. Falck Prime Atlantic kicked off an exciting collaboration with the world-renowned Fire Service College, Moreton-In-Marsh, UK, to deliver specialized firefighting training to the public and private sectors in Nigeria. This announcement was made public at a press conference held at the Falck Ipara Training Centre, Ogun state on Monday, June 10, 2019.
The collaboration commenced with the training of Federal Fire Service personnel in the month of June 2019 on four specialized courses including High Rise Firefighting Tactics, Casualty Care and Extraction, Fire Team Leader (JOIFF) and Fire Safety Management and Fire Risk Assessment. The aim of this training is to ensure that the Federal Fire Service is equipped with the knowledge and technical skills required to deliver on their jobs.
This collaboration between Falck Prime Atlantic and the Fire Service College, UK, is a tremendous feat because it means that trainings that would otherwise cost organizations much more to acquire in the U.K. will now be delivered in a fully residential training centre in Nigeria with the same international standards necessary to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
