Fire safety involves taking proper precautions to reduce the likelihood of a fire, and also knowing how to react if a fire should occur. All employees should be able to identify unsafe work conditions and use aggressive fire prevention techniques to reduce or eliminate potential dangers. It is also important to know the class of fire, how to choose the correct extinguisher, proper firefighting techniques, and know when not to fight a fire.
